IA for organizing/hosting a well managed tournament. Both days were graced by perfect cricketing weather.A strong Police team emerged winners in the corporate event and Lanka Lions 1 won the main event beating Kallang Colts in the final. IA Avemore and Lanka Lions 2 also reached the semi-finals.
We were privileged to be able to watch 3 current Sri Lankan cricket internationals participate in the tournament.
There were some memorable games including the 1 st match when Marian beat Lanka Lions 1. Lanka Lions we chasing a large score posted by Marina and the final over saw Lanka Lions scoring 5 sixes (3 huge hits from Avishka and 2 from Mevan Fernando) and yet Marina held on to win. Another highlight of the tournament was the spectacular catches taken by the Sri Lankan stars.

Some feed back from the International players: The standard of Singapore cricket was higher than they had expected and continued investment in infrastructure especially good pitches is key to further improving the standard of cricket in Singapore .
